Byrne Marston - Plein Air Painter
Byrne Marston is a plein air painter living in Truro Massachusetts and Florida. He studied color at the Cape Cod School of Art with Hilda Neily, Rob Longley, John Clayton and Mary Giammarino.
Marston has spent over 20 years studying the art of watercolor painting. His approach is a unique interpretation of a traditional watercolor technique.
Living and painting in Truro allows Marston to appreciate the colors and contours of the dunes, marshes, sky and water of the Outer Cape. He studies the light as the weather creates infinite variations in color. In his paintings he tries to create a sense of being in the present.
